I have loved the "seesick" as my little one begs for music constantly! She asks for Christmas music and then dances and sings to it! I love it! We have also had a lot of fun teaching her about the "baby Jesus" although she still thinks the wise men and the shepherds must also be Jesus since before now, he's always been a man with a beard! :)
I love how all the holidays have changed watching them through my child's eyes!
Liz&Meg, I was going to say the same thing! I feel like I am experiencing Christmas as a child again, watching her experience everything for the first time! My favorite was probably decorating the house and tree with Skyler, and hearing her say "Ooooh!" and "Pit-tee!" (pretty). I did really enjoy my all day Christmas shopping venture on Black Friday as well though!
Last year my daughter was an infant and was not into Christmas at all. This year she just loves the lights and decorations! When she sees them, she gasps and points. I love it. She also started saying "Ho, ho, ho" yesterday and I love it.
Having my mom come and visit and getting ready for my sisters-in-law to come back home! My mom came for two weeks (and is actually packing right now to be ready to leave tomorrow morning:( ) but then my husband's family starts flying in on Saturday and we'll get to start another couple weeks of fun!
Well, it is definitely not the fact that the airport lost all of me and my kids luggage yesterday. And still havent' found it. However, I am here in Michigan with my family and I am definitely loving that!!!!!!
I have two... making stockings and a stocking hanger for my little family, and going to Disneyland for our family Christmas present. We just got home a few hours ago. It was soooo much fun! I love how Christmas-y Disneyland is... they go all out!
My girls singing the "Gloria" part of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." So cute!!
ReplyDeleteTeaching Little "I" about Jesus and the Nativity. He looks forward to opening his little advent calendar every single day.

ReplyDeleteMy kids like to go out of our front door every night before bedtime and look at our neighbors great light display, they never get sick of it.
ReplyDeleteSo far I would have to say just recognizing and counting my blessings. My family has been so blessed this past year. I can't ask for more.
