Wednesday Weekly

Have you ever seen a movie in theatres that you wished you hadn't seen in the theatre (or hadn't seen at all)? If so, which movie?

  2. Alvin and the chipmunks. My son and nephew wanted to see it really bad so we went. They loved it. I like most kid movies, but that was definitely not a fave of mine.

  3. Dude Where's My Car... I definitely walked out in the middle of it. And my *fabulous* boyfriend at the time didn't bother to follow me, so I sat in the cold car attempting to read Harry Potter by the light of the parking lot lamps until the movie ended. In case you are wondering, that relationship didn't last long.

  4. I went on a group date in High School where the group consensus of which movie to see was Jury Duty with Paulie Shore in it. Worst. Movie. Ever. Even the people who wanted to see it hated it.

  5. Antwone Fisher -- about a navy guy. Generally I like military movies but this one I didn't.

  7. There's Something About Mary. On our honeymoon my DH was giving up R rated movies, and I watched my first two, that was one of them. ..and we have had just a few slip-ups when we didn't check a rating, but other than that, we have been pretty good ever since that trip.

  8. Chicago...Stuck on You...and Along Came Polly. At least I saw them all at the dollar theater...but I wanted to walk out of all of them. I've just stopped going to movies at the theater now that we don't have dollar theaters near us anymore b/c most movies are crap these days and I don't want to waste my money (or my time for that matter).
