What was your favorite book growing up?

  1. I really liked The Borrowers series by Mary Norton. They were one of my Mom's favorites when she was young, and she passed them down to me when I was old enough to read.

  3. In elementary school I loved Arthur (the anteater) and Amelia Bedelia. When I read non-picture books I loved Nancy Drew.

  5. My Mom used to say I devoured books so this one is hard! I was a Baby-sitter's Club girl, Anne of Green Gables, Little House on the Prairie, Sideways Stories from Wayside School, Matilda, Little Women. My favorite two books though, are No Flying in the House by Betty Brock and Beyond the PawPaw Trees by Palmer Brown.

  6. I loved books too! I was also a big Baby-Sitters Club fan. I also liked Charlotte's Web, and Sweet Valley Twins!

  7. Definitely Sweet Valley Twins, Goosebumps, and Bridge to Terabithia was really good. I can't wait to see the movie!

  9. Yes, I read all The Baby-Sitter's Club books up through like number 70. I also liked The Saddle Club books and Island of the Blue Dolphins. Oh, and Where The Red Fern Grows.

  10. I used to read Matilda at least once a year. The Baby-sitter's Club and Sweet Valley Twins books were also faves of mine.
