Shelf-life of herbs

Does anyone know how long fresh, store-bought herbs like rosemary or bay leafs last in your refrigerator? I couldn't find an exp. date, just a "sell by" date.

  2. I agree with the above posts. When I buy fresh herbs, and I can tell they are only going to last another day (and I have no way to use them) I dry them. Dried fresh herbs are SO much better than the stuff you buy in the store! If you have a dehydrator, that's best, but otherwise, just spread them out on a cookie sheet and stick them in the oven on a low heat for a while.
