Black Friday

So who all is planning to go out on black friday? Who do you go with? Are there specific toys that you are looking for? Is this anyones first time going or not going? I haven't decided if I am going but I have looked at all the ads on theblackfriday.com . Has anyone else taken a look on there?

Oh yes- we are die hard black friday shoppers for sure! My sis, mom, aunt and I usually spend Thanksgiving evening skimming the ads (most of which we have probably already seen online) and then we map out our plan of attack. Sometimes we hit the same store together, which is fun, but sometimes we split up so as to get more doorbusters and then we meet up for brunch afterwards and gloat over our awesome steals! Usually I am not after any of the crazy, hot ticket items, except this year my hubby and I are contemplating the real cheap HDTV at Target- so we'll see!!

I think I'm going to have to sit this year out! My best friend and I have gone the past 3 years but I just can't imagine that I'd enjoy it at 35.5 weeks pregnant. :P We're talking about going shopping still, just at a decent time and hopefully we won't be battling the crowds and lines as much as if we set out in the early, early morning hours. My Christmas shopping is 90% done anyway and all the gifts are even wrapped, so if we do go out it'll just be to enjoy some shopping and lunch.

I hope to make it out this year. I just need to find a babysitter. Last year there was a great sale on infant formula, so I fought the crowds to feed my kid. I have't looked at many ads, so I don't know what is out there. I'll probably go with my MIL.

I am going along this year. I really want to go to Toys R Us becaues I have a $20 gift card and two of my sons presents that I want to get him are only $5!!! I am not sure if fighting the toys r us crowd is worth it though!

Susan, it's totally worth it! It's only miserable if you go with your heart set on getting a certain item! But if you go just for the fun of it, and the experience, then you'll have a blast.

There's nothing too major I'm looking for this year. A toy my daughter wants that is about $15 cheaper that day, and a gift for my husband that is also a good deal. Mostly I just go for the fun of it. My sister will be in town so I'm going with her and my mom and we'll go to breakfast and stuff. Can't wait!

Steph you are so right it is fun. I do need to remember to not get my heart set on getting the cheaper toy. I am going to go and just have fun. Since I won't be with anyone I will just call my sisters and see how they are doing in there black friday indeavors! I will be fun.
