It's not so much a tip, but I got a make-up application done at the Clinique counter right before my wedding, and I still use their application tips to this day. I'm not very creative or innovative (I've done my make-up the same way for 6 years!) There's only like one or two actual Clinique products that I buy, but their expertise and advice on the right shades for me was really helpful!!!

Blush-- the right color and application makes all the difference in the world.
My mom says to moisturize my face AND neck. I'm doing it because her neck looks really young for a woman in her 50's.
To get eyeshadow to stay on and not rub off so much throughout the day, spray it lightly with aerosol hairspray.
