Gifts for your kids
Last year I got some really great ideas from this blog for gifts for my toddler. One of my favorites was a wallet that I filled with gift cards (with no money on them) and pictures. I think that was Steph's idea, thanks! I actually used several ideas from others last year. I wondered if anyone has any creative ideas they are utilizing for their kids this year. One thing that I'm a bit excited about is a 4x6 photo album for my two year old filled with photos of all the people she loves. I think it will be a nice thing for her to look at in the car or at church. Happy gift giving!

I found a coupon code for a free photo book from Snapfish a few weeks back. I used it to order a book for Cecelia that I filled with pictures from all our Disneyland trips. She LOVES looking at all our pictures. I made some of them into a DVD and she asks to watch it constantly. She also points to the computer and says "Me-Me" (Mickey) and wants to look through all the pictures I have on here. So, I'm thinking its going to be a huge hit with her!
I also got her an easel from Ikea. It was on sale on Saturday for $9.99. I'm really excited about that gift. Hopefully she is too.
I haven't felt as creative this year, and my daughter's gifts are mostly things she specifically loves, like some horse figurines or accessories for her dollhouse. I did want to get her some "educational" things though, and I got her a few different inexpensive items to help her learn her alphabet. One is alphabet magnets for the fridge-she played with these with at a friend's house and was obsessed! I figured it would help occupy her while I'm cooking, doing dishes, etc. And another friend told me about foam letters, numbers, shapes, you can get for the bathtub. We needed some new tub toys anyway, so I was excited.
I'm in Stephanie's boat. I haven't felt very creative but I'm trying. I'm putting together a dress-up box with some purses and gloves and skirts in it and some of those giant coloring books and some princess things
