Hubby's stocking
Do you stuff your husband's stocking? I am looking for some fun ideas for stuffing my husband's stocking. This is kind of the first time I am doing it because in years past we have always been with family and every adult there has put something in everyone's stocking. Anyway, if you have some fun ideas, please share! Kid ideas would be fun to share, too!

I stuff my hubby's stocking. I usually put in a box of his favorite candy (Sweet's Orange Sticks), a DVD, and a video game. I've also been known to put in razor blade refills and a toothbrush. If it is something small that he needs/wants, it usually goes in the stocking.
I always put a few different types of candy, a new shower poof and usually a movie. I also put gift cards in for places that give Scott half off when he's on duty! Then the gift cards go a long way. I usually put an iTunes gift card in there as well and sometimes a book.
several years ago, our stake president encouraged us to give something that stores for christmas to build up our food storage. so we do that for our stockings. i fill his stocking with shaving cream, razors, deodorant, exciting stuff like that! But he loves it! and then I usually find something fun and little like dollar bin trivia cards, peanut butter cups, or something like that.
for my girls, I raid the dollar spot at Target! I think they're getting wind up toys, a ball and princess jewelry from the dollar bins this year. And they usually get a new toothbrush! :)
We did stockings the first couple years but the last two we haven't. Usually I put dvd, black church socks, shower poof (that is funny that Claire does that also), and sometimes a game or something fun like that. Candy as well and a fruit. (I liked to get a pomegranite in mine!!) Some other fun ideas would be axe body spray, car freshners, New pictures of you and the kid in frames for work (if he has a desk), and I am out of idea!!!
For my kids I like to shop target $1 section, dollar tree, and also I found Michaels, Roberts, and Joanns have fun dollar sections also. I have collected tons of fun disney character items for Cedrics and Katelyn's stockings! I also like to put a new book and when we have money we do a big toy all set up by their stocking from Santa.
My hubby usually gets Church socks, a tie, or gloves. Also candy, and this year I picked up a cheap dvd on Black Friday.
These are some great ideas everyone!!! My husband and I don't always do each others stockings, it really depends on how much money we have that year. When we have done it, we do magazines, favorite candy, one year I put a huge bottle of IBC rootbeer in it. Random stuff!
I love the dress socks idea and ties. Man, why have I never thought of these things?
