Christmas

Just want to know how everyone's Christmas went! What was your favourite gift you received? What was your favourite gift that you gave? Did you do any fun things to focus on the true meaning of Christmas this year? Can't wait to hear all about it.

I think my fave gift I received was a gift certificate to get a massage which I will be using after my baby is born and will enjoy every minute of (and will hopefully stay awake to enjoy it).

I loved giving my girls their stockings which I guess were from Santa. That man gets all the credit for my creativity!

Christmas Eve tends to be the more spiritual day for me. This year was no exception. I think keeping it simple with the Christmas story and carols really brings the Spirit in. I love hearing my 3 year old sing the carols and sometimes make up her own about baby Jesus, Mary etc.

On a more secular note, I really loved playing a few Christmas games with my kids on Christmas Eve. We did Santa says, Pin the nose on rudolph, a relay of filling Santa's sack with ornaments, and another one where you had to run across the room with a red nose on. It was just something new for us and I liked it. I always have fun when I keep in mind what my kids will like.
