Baby carriers/wraps
I'm expecting my 2nd in 3 weeks and we'd like a carrier or a wrap for him. We had one for our first, but it was second hand, and I couldn't get her out of it by myself so I never used it. Now it seems there are so many different products out there! Wraps, slings, and carriers of all different price levels. What is everyone's recommendation on what to buy? And what do you like and dislike?

What kind did you have? I'm getting a Moby here soon. The wrap style is fabulous. I have one that is similar to a Moby, which I love, but the fabric is too stretchy. My girls start to "droop" as I carry them in it. Several of my friends have Mobys and don't have that issue. They all rave about them. One of my friends is 17 weeks pregnant and still carries her 15 month old around in the Moby.
I second Claire on the moby. I made one myself (they are kind of expensive to buy, and depending on the price of fabric you can make one for less... you do need about 5-6 yards of fabric. I spent $20 and got two out of it).
The moby is versatile and there are a lot of ways to wear it, so you can easily change how you carry your child as they age and get stronger. Moby Wrap's website has instructions for the different holds if you want to check it out. I used the hug hold a lot with my newborn, and now the sling hold since he is 7 months old.
I like that I don't have to mess around with adjusting rings, and I can leave it on if I need to take my baby in and out frequently.
I LOVE THE MOBY WRAP! Even though I don't know if I will have more kids it is the only baby item I won't get rid of because it is the only thing I for sure want it I do have another.
I have a ring sling that I love too but you have to make sure to buy a nice kind because a lot of them are hard to use and hurt. I don't know the brand of the one I have because my SIL gave it to me.
My sister in law just got a ring sling with this baby and is loving it.
