What's your favorite meal that you've received or given as a gift of compassionate service in your ward? (ie birth of a baby, post surgery, funeral, etc.)
This isn't a specific meal but one thing I think is great is when people bring meals that are feezable. That way if you don't eat it all or for some reason don't actually need it for that day you can pop it in the freezer and pull it out for a rougher day.

fruit as a side! i get sick of salads so I love when the side is different from a bag of salad!
my favorite was when a lady made home made Chinese food. It was so different-nor marinara! that it was fun!
