Facebook?
MySpace?
Something else?
Sometimes I feel like I'm keeping in better touch with my family and friends and I'm so glad that I have a facebook account. Then there are the times when I realize that I'm wasting a lot of time and really haven't done much in the time I've been looking at my facebook homepage.
Our old Stake President discouraged MySpace very vocally. So I'm just curious what your take on these sites is.

I have a facebook account, but nothing else (other than blogger of course :) ). I really do not know how myspace works, but with facebook I love all the privacy settings you can have and how you have to approve people to be your friend.
I feel like I am able to keep better track of my family and friends, but not necessarily in touch better... I really do not talk to anyone more, just check up on where they are, what they are doing, occasional wall post, etc.
Same for me- just Facebook. I have heard bad things about myspace- so have no desire to check that out. I like facebook a lot- I love keeping in contact with people I normally wouldn't! And I definitely like and utilize the privacy settings!
I'm only on Facebook and don't use it a whole lot but it's cool.
I love all the people I've found on Facebook from growing up and finding out what they're doing and sharing pics of my family now. my father in law just joined twitter and it makes me giggle since he doesn't even email! :) that's what made me think of it.
I'm pretty much the same. I have a facebook and I try not to spend too much time on it, but I still probably spend more than I should. Its a great concept though. It's cool seeing what all of my old friends are up to.
I had a myspace (and probably still do though I never go on it) before facebook really came to be huge. Myspace just became to trashy for me so, that is why I never use it anymore. I love facebook, it has brought me in contact with old friends and cousin who I never see because they are so far away.
I have facebook, I like it. When I first signed up it was so novel and exciting I would check it all the time. Now I don't. I log on once a week or so to see what is going on. It has been great to catch up with people.
I have a blog, too. I fluctuate with how often I post - I try to limit my time on the computer. If I'm not careful I can waste HOURS on it!
I don't like MySpace... besides all the trashy pictures and crappy "writing", I hate that people can change their backgrounds and text colour. It makes it way too hard to look at.
I have a FB account and I'm on there more than I should be, I'm sure. But I enjoy keeping up with friends on there and that's where my sister posts pics of my nephew and such.
Love, love, love my blog!! I'm in the process of turning it into a book through Blurb so I have a paper record of what we've been up to.
