Moby Wrap

I really want to get a moby wrap to use when I have my second baby(which is in two months from yesterday!). I have tried one on and really like them. Plus so many people have them out here in Utah they must be worth the money, Right? Do any of you have a moby? What do you think about them? I am also wondering if anyone knows the cheapest site to buy one from. I found one sale for $35 and free shipping that ends tomorrow but I wanted to see if anyone knew of anywhere cheaper. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I LOVE my Moby wrap and highly recommend it! It is so great when they are really little and just sleep anyway, you wrap that thing around them and can do anything. I felt with other carriers, etc I always had to have a hand on them to support their head a little bit or something, but with the wrap you can just wrap them in and have both hands free to do just about anything. The babies love it because they are wrapped so close to you. Plus when they start to get bigger there are so many other ways to wrap it that you can pick and choose what's best for you. You aren't limited to having them on the front. I got mine as a gift (from a fellow Mom who loved hers) so I don't know the best place to get it, but I think they run about $35ish. It is also very easy to throw in the wash if it needs to be cleaned. I wish I had it with my other 2!

I received one for a shower present, just opened it up thought it looked way too hard to use and put it back in it's bag it came in. I never used it at all so if you are interested in buying mine for like $20- feel free to email me at molly(dot)stump at gmail(dot)com.

Try looking at kids resale shops.

I didn't have one of these-they look so HOT to me! I had a Bjorn that I got used and loved and used ALL the time. I would put her in it and do things around the house and go shopping, etc. She loved being so close and I didn't feel like her head was unsuppported at all.

Hey Susan... that looks almost identical to the Ultimate Baby Wrap I got from Babies R Us. Was it you who told me about that? Is there a difference I'm not seeing? (Other than fabric design...)

I hated the ultimate baby wrap. I sold mine recently. The difference is the type of material. The Ultimate baby wrap is to stretchy and you don't feel like you can do things as hands free as with a moby wrap. I never felt like Cedric was secure enough in the baby wrap but when I tried a moby wrap it was awesome! And now thanks to Molly I am getting one!! HURRAY!

Interesting... I like the Ultimate Baby Wrap, but I only used it when Cecelia was little... the bigger she got the less useful I found it, but I look forward to using it with future chicklets. I might have to look into the Moby wrap. I love, love, love strollers and slings! I have several varieties of each! :D
