I don't know how many of you have heard, but President Hinckley died at 7:00pm Utah time. Limited details are available here.
I'm so sad! I love President Hinckley, but I'm sure he's so happy to be back with his wife! They are so sweet together. It is my hope that one day Scott and my marriage will be like theirs.

Wow. I hadn't heard. Thanks for the heads up.
What a bittersweet thing! I will miss him!
I came on to type the same thing. I just wanted to tell one of my favorite things about him which is that even being 97 he still understood what was going on in the world for all ages. He could relate to anyone. I think that is just amazing. I loved President Hinckley very much as I am sure you all did too.
How sad the news is. We just found out as we were logging onto the computer to check family emails, and were a little shocked to see the Headline on LDS.org
I was stunned, but mostly way at peace because I love when couples are reunited. He was AMAZING and I loved him too.
I read the e-mail from my ward and kept thinking "No Way!" This is hard to believe. I am sad but I still feel happy ... how odd to feel such differing feelings at the same time. President Hinckley was wonderful. I'm happy that he's with his lovely wife again!
I just keep thinking about the amazing reunion that must be taking place. Just think how excited he is to see his mom again, Marjorie, his dad, siblings, Pres. Benson and Hunter, Pres. Faust, Elder Maxwell and so, so, so many others like G. Homer Durham (his best friend as a young man). Then imagine his reunion with people like Joseph Smith, the Savior... WOW, it must be such a celebration! If anyone deserved to move on, certainly it was him. I'm so happy for him.
I agree with everyone. I will truly miss President Hinckley...I love that man. But, I think that he was ready to go and am happy for him and the reunions that he must be having right now. I wrote in my journal last night about how glad I was to have President Hinckley be the prophet of my "coming of age" years. He truly has inspired me to be better and strengthen my testimony.
