A scooter that I got for a birthday, I don't remember how old I was. I just remember how excited I was when I saw it.

When my dad was deployed to Saudi Arabia he promised to bring us each back a gift... the entire time he was gone I visualized getting a Disney World Barbie. When he returned, he'd not only brought me the Barbie of my dreams, but he'd grown his mustache back out, which I loved as a little girl. I thought my dad's mustache was the greatest!

My waterbed as a teenager. I was so excited, and I didn't even ask for it. Total surprise.

Probably either my barbie house or bike. I guess kids really do get excited about the "big gifts!"

p.s. I love the dress-up chest idea. Might have to use that myself someday!

A Cabbage Patch Kid. Am I dating myself? Anybody else get one of these?

I LOVE cabbage patch kids!! I had several, and each of my siblings also had at least one. I wanted to be sure Cecelia got one early in life, so my mum got her one for her first Christmas. Her name is Gillian and Cecelia loves her and brings her almost everywhere with us.
