I wish that I had a better answer for you....my cousin recommended "These is My Words" to me..and she had also recommended Twilight to me and the Goose Girl series and so I knew that I would probably like it, seeing how we tend to have the same taste in books (even though those three series really have very little in common...). Anyway, so I went based on her recommendation.

word of mouth is always best for me so you can trust them-i have a friend in my parent's ward who's a book nut and always reads good stuff-i also read a blog of "clean books" called deliciously clean reads (ther'es a link on my blog) and have read a few there. the writer of that blog is now my good reads friend so when she reads and reviews something, sometimes i'll check that out as well.
I usually like to ask friends for recommendations, but I also love the website Goodreads.com. You can look up any book and read reviews that other people have put on there and see what rating they gave it out of 5 stars. I use it all the time!
These is my Words is one of my faves! Love it! It is in a series of three. All worth the read!
