I'm so tired right now that I can't think of everything super clearly, but generally I loved that I felt the talks were really addressing these tough times that we are in and speaking peace to our souls. I appreciated the first talk that talked about spending as an addiction. That talk really got me thinking and many of the quotes and stories hit home.
I loved Elder Eyring's talk about Hope! I feel like there have been so many talks about gloom and doom and preparedness that his talk was a balm for my worried soul! I am an in a strange situation-living with my parents, my hubby in a temp job, we've always had more of a store than we do right now and it's nerve wracking to me. But I also feel like Heavenly Father knows we're doing all we can and that we will be blessed for our efforts.
I really liked Elder Holland's talk. It really touched me and made me remember what is truly important--our Savior and our love for Him and following Him. He is always there for us. It was very powerful to me.
I also really enjoyed Elder Scott's talk and learned from it that I have no reason to complain ever, as long as I'm living the way I should.
