Hey Ladies! I've had this on my mind lately. I am wondering how many of you have mis-carried a baby. If so, where were you in your pregnancy? Also, how many have you had?
I am wondering if mis-carriages are more genetic than we think. So if you'd take this poll, I'd love it.

I have not had a miscarriage. I've had two girls and two pregnancies. I have wondered the same thing though because my mother didn't have any miscarriages either.
I miscarried with my first pregnancy at 8 weeks. My mom miscarried between me and my younger sister.
I miscarried between my first and second child. I was 8 weeks along but the baby hadn't grown past 3 weeks. My Mom had a miscarriage but was a lot further along and one of my sisters had a miscarriage a lot further along too. My Dr. said miscarriages are actually really common and that even woman who say they haven't had one ever have probably had one. But I don't know how they would prove that.
I've had one healthy child, and one miscarriage, at around 7 weeks. Susan is right. Miscarriages are actually really common, I think something like one out of every four or five pregnancies. But I wouldn't be surprised if they run more strongly in certain families either. Among my extended family, I was only the second known miscarriage out of over thirty pregnancies. So obviously in our family, we aren't meeting normal statistics!
I have not had a miscarriage that I know of... I did have one cycle that I feel I might have miscarried, but I hadn't taken a test to know for sure. My Mum had 3 miscarriages, and after each one she conceived a boy soon after... I always tell her that her body didn't like carrying boys.
I had a miscarriage between my 2 kids- I was around 8-9 weeks along. My doctor told me only 1 or 2 of the nurses in her huge practice had not had one. She said really common.
Yeah, super common, but unfortunately knowing that doesn't help.
I've had 3, possibly 4. The first one I was 10 weeks, the second I was 5 and the 3rd I was 5-6.
My mom had one miscarriage before me... but she was 41.
Just putting another plug in for my blog, Faith Hope and Sorrow. It's for LDS women who are having problems getting pregnant with subsequent children. You don't have to have "medical" fertility issues, or even miscarriages to understand the stress that comes with wanting to be pregnant and not being. It's a private blog so if you want to join email me at eternityepi3@gmail.com
I have had one, but I was less than 5 weeks. I wouldn't probably have even know if I didn't get so sick before I miss my period with each pregnancy. My mom had two within a couple of months of each other.
