If you were the founder of your own charitable foundation, what would be your cause?

Something to do with helping sick children, maybe helping them pay for experimental procedures they wouldn't be able to afford??? I always cry when I watch commercials for St. Jude's Children's Hospital!

I agree with Stephanie, something for kids. Being a mom now, my love for kids and wanting to help them has increased ten fold. Cystic Fibrosis would be another cause I would want to help.

CF would obviously be my number one choice, but since that already exists, maybe one that helps moms cope with the stresses of diseases.

Something to help get kids off the streets and have a chance to get real education. I really like the perpetual education fund. I like funds that help people...and then teach them how to help others too. I think that's a great idea.

I haven't thought to hard about it but I do think it would be cool to start some kind of foundation to help single Mom's so that they have the opprotunity to be with their children more often. Not necessarily be a stay at home Mom because that would be impossible. But something that would help them.

Support for families of police officers injured or killed in the line of duty. I know that such charities exist already, but I'm thinking more long term support. Its all fine and dandy to have the help right after tragedy strikes, but what about a year or two down the road, once everyone else has forgotten...
