Do you call a carbonated beverage "soda", "pop", or "coke"?

"Pop" usually. Isaac calls everything that's not water, "Juice," so it ends up being called "Juice" in our house too.

pop! although I'm with Staci in that if Megan ever gets any (like when she has the flu) we call it "special juice."

I think I say "pop" but we don't really drink it around this house. When I do say it, it really brings out my Chicago accent.

depends on where i'm living...
when i'm at home in Arkansas, it's "coke"! it doesn't matter if i'm really talking about sprite or pepsi, it's still coke!
when i'm at my hubby's home in MN, it's soda and out here, it's pop! i like to cover my bases!

"Pop" when I'm in Michigan, but if I go to visit my family in Wisconsin or Minnesota then it's "Soda"!

Soda or pop... depends on the day! We don't drink it though, so I rarely refer to it.

Like the rest of the Michiganders - Pop.

Pop! I will never forget when I said that in the UK--my friends had no idea what I was talking about. When I explained, they laughed because they thought the word sounded SO funny. I asked them what they called it, and when they said, "Fizzy drinks!" we all agreed that their term wasn't much better than mine. :)

All growing up it was Pop but now it is Soda. If I say Pop now my husband pretends he can't understand me or corrects me. He is silly.
