Polling all moms of little boys...
I need to buy a birthday gift for a little boy turning 4. It's someone from Church and I really don't know what he is into! I can't spend a lot either, I'm trying to be careful with money. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas for things boys are generally excited about at that age!

Anything with wheels! Balls of any kind are usually great too.
A small lego set. You can get some of them for pretty cheap. Like a basic spaceship or something. A game is always a fun gift but those can be pricey. I guess I am not as much help as I thought I would be. Everything I am thinking of typing would be way to expensive!
Cars, trucks, tractors, balls...
My boys love, transformers, star wars, legos, ben 10, pokemon and many many more. I don't know how much you want to spend, but I know that you can get some of these things for $10 or under.
You could also make something for less money that buying a gift...think stilts made from metal cans or wooden blocks, etc.
