Scrub, scrub, scrub

Anyone have wood laminate flooring? What is the best way to clean it? I vacuum and/or sweep mine but how should I clean it when it needs more than that? I have it in the kitchen and in our living room.

We vacuum ours, and I use my Swiffer Sweeper a lot to pick up the dust that accumulates in the corners! :D Gotta love it.

For "deeper" cleaning, I use either my Swiffer Wet Jet or on rare occasions, my Shark Steam Mop. Its safe for laminate floors, but I don't use it often. I find that the Wet Jet is usually enough to keep the laminate clean.

I use the WetJet too.

I hear vinegar is amazing for it. Look it up on google. I am sure you will find directions. I love the wet jet too but I don't think it cleans allthat well unless you do it a couple times.

Just a warning, I use the Swiffer Wet Jet too, and a while back I received an email saying that the ingredients are poisonous to babies and animals that crawl around on the floor? Supposedly a couple of pets died of liver failure or something, and that's what they traced it back to. I never know how much truth there is to those emails, or who starts them. My daughter is beyond the crawling around, putting everything in her mouth days. But I've sort of kept that info in the back of my head for the future...

Personally I use either lemon pine sol or murphy's oil soap and wash the floor with a rag on my hands and knees for the best clean...I am a little more OCD, though.
