In-Law Birthdays
It's my father-in-law's birthday this week. I don't know about yours but my husband is no help in this area and my FIL is hard to shop for!!! When I come up with ideas that I think are brilliant, they get vetoed. A few I have overridden and done anyway and ironically they're usually a big hit! Anyway, some men are tough to find gifts for and mine is one of those! Any suggestions??

Ugh. I have the worst time with this. I even struggle with my own Dad.
I think photo gifts are cool and always especially appreciated by men with grandkids. I also give out DVD's of home videos.
I'm so lame, I usually give socks. But they are useful!!
I like to gift cards. I know some people think that's not very thoughtful but I know that I myself love getting a gift card. They can be thoughtful if you pick the perfect place for the person you are giving to. I recently gave one to my Dad for GNC, something kind of different. (And gift cards cost basically a stamp to send in the mail!)
Yeah, I'm all about gift cards or cash for in-laws. I tried too hard the first couple years of marriage and I failed completely.
