Post-Potter Depression

I found this blog surfing and wanted to share. I have felt so sad that Harry is done and there won't be any more books so I'm excited to discover some new series that I'll hopefully enjoy as well! Happy Reading!

Thanks! I'm always looking for some good book recommendations. Also...this series isn't about a wizard...but its juvenile lit. and its fantasy (its a princess story) but its sooooo good! It's by Shannon Hale and the first book in the series is The Goose Girl, then Enna Burning, then River Secrets. I LOVED these books. Also, Shannon Hale wrote a separate non-related princess book called Princess Academy which was also very good. :)

Oh yes! I haven't read River Secrets yet but have loved all the others by her! I'm also a sucker for Stephenie Meyer's Twilight and New Moon (I'm dying that I can't afford Eclipse right now and my library request is still waiting!)

Thanks for sharing - I'm always looking for good books to read. I second the other books mentioned as well - I loved both the shannon hale books and the twilight and new moon series (I am also waiting on the waiting list at the library for eclipse and I can't wait)!

I LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIOUS. It is kind of crazy because the book club I belong to just picked the first book last month. so, on our long drive to Texas I decided to read it and became a little bit obsessed. I immediately bought the second book and luckily the third book was coming out so I got that one too. Love them
