Biggest Loser: Week 8 Weigh In

I'm a day late, but better late than never, right! And I'm sure you are all anxiously awaiting the chance to update us on your weight loss!! So lets hear it...

I actually have not so anxiously been awaiting the update, because I haven't lost anything. I am stuck!! So, here goes another week of trying to lose that last 4.5 lbs.

I've lost another pound. So, I'm at Lost 11/Goal 12. Almost there!! I did end up joining Weight Watchers (WW) because I would like to lose another 10-15 pounds after this. I like WW, it's been very eye opening. I've never really been on a diet before, so this has made me realize how much mindless snacking I do! Or just how many calories (or points for WW) there are in finishing up my kids lunches for them!!

One thing I am concerned about is we are traveling the next couple of weeks. Any great suggestions from anyone?

Well, a day late was to my benefit because as of this morning I made my goal! (Lost:5/Goal:5). I am pretty excited. This is the first time since right after having my daughter that I have actively lost weight. The difference for me has totally been finding exercise that is fun, and not a chore. I go running or for a bike ride hauling my 25 lb toddler in the bike trailer almost every day. I've also been a lot more careful about only eating when I'm hungry, thinking about what I'm putting in my mouth and if it's worth the calories, and not eating after dinner. As of right now, I'm 2 lb less than I was when I got pregnant for my first, so I'm hoping I can keep it off!

Wow you guys are doing great!!

Sorry I have been awol... I just moved and barely got internet service today.

I lost 1 pound last week!! I am down 2.5 or something like that.
