Kids' shoes
Just wondering what you guys are willing to pay for kids' shoes, and where you find the best deals. My daughter is going on two, and is outgrowing the baby section at Target, which used to be my favorite place to buy her shoes. They were usually around $12 regular price! I like shoes that are cute, but also comfortable for her. I hate to spend a lot, because they outgrow them so fast. I see shoes that are good brands go on sale for twenty something, and I'm just wondering if that's a good price, or can I find something cheaper???

The best shoes we bought this spring/summer were a pair of Children's Place "crocs" for $7! They are her water shoes/sandals/run everywhere shoes and they still look like new! They were the best buy ever!
my little girl moved from the baby to the little girl shoes at Target and I still go there for her. They're still the cheapest and the best deal that I've found in general.
However, Children's Place has their shoes online on sale for a steal right now and I've been tempted to get those!
Ooh, I did order a pair of Children's Place shoes. You can put in the online code of FA78 and get an additional 15% off. I totally agree about the crocs!
I usually check Marshall's because I can usually find some nice looking and comfortable, name brand shoes for less than $15. I got Austin some Merrell's last winter on clearance for $10 and they are normally like $35.
My kids had pretty wide feet as babies and toddlers so, I couldn't always just get them anywhere. Some of their shoes have cost close to $5o, but thankfully my mom has bought those. My kids are a little older then most of the other moms on here, so thankfully I am getting into the stage of a pair of shoes lasting a whole year. It has been nice. Sometimes it is nice to look at Kohls, they have some good sales sometimes.
I've found some of my best deals on shoes at the antique stores downtown. An odd place to find them, but some of the stores get some pretty random stuff! Along that line though, maybe look at Savers, Goodwill, DI, any thrift store type place. The good thing about kids shoes, especially at the younger ages, is they don't always have enough time to ruin the shoes, so they are still in good shape for a great price.
We've had the most luck at Target and Payless for everything from sandals to tennis shoes to dress shoes. I've been most disappointed in Famous Footwear--their kids section is practically nonexistent!
