24 Days of Christmas Books
I LOVE this idea from Tales! We don't have many Christmas books at our house. I know we discussed some ideas for books earlier in November here on S&S. There are tons on here and the previous post. I ordered some from the library and I'm going to see if I can't at least do a 12 days of Christmas (and hope my Mom has enough in Little Rock for those last days when we'll be there!) Enjoy!

I'm definitely doing this next year and I love the suggestion to utilize the library. Awesome.
I bet we could get christmas books on clearance after the holiday for next year!
One of our family traditions is to get a new Christmas story or two each year. We read that story/stories on Christmas eve before going to bed, while we eat oreos and drink milk. The stories from past years we read on the days leading up to Christmas. Eventually we'll have enough books to do the Twelve Days of Christmas books, and eventually 24!
What a cool idea! Thanks so much for sharing!!! I love it because it's a great way to combine things I love-reading and encouraging a love for books, having fun with a secular tradition (opening a gift), and incorporating the spiritual side by having books about the Nativity, etc. I'm definitely going to do this! Everyone definitely share the favorite Christmas books you find!
