We went to this really incredible grocery store across town this weekend and purchased a delicious pumpkin bar and butterscotch brownie at their bakery. It made me think about making some kind of a bar because I never have. Does anyone have a good recipe they could post?

Ooooo..thanks for the reminder...I think I've had these that you've made and they were to die for. I love pumpkin and chocolate.
i'm really only in the mood for htem during cold times, but they're yummy!
do you know how to make magic bars? (coconut, condensed milk, chips, nuts and graham crust layered?) that's a good one too!
If magic bars are seven layer bars, those are my FAVORITE!! Just in case someone doesn't know what they are, I'll post them. Mmmm...makes me crave 'em!
Laura, please do.
Yes! magic bars are one of thsoe treats everyone has a different name for but are soooo yummy no matter what you call them! :)
my summer favorites would have to be lemon bars!!!!! mmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Although I've never done it myself, I had a friend in our last ward who made snickerdoodle bars. She just mixed up the dough, spread it in a 9x13 pan, sprinkled it with cinnamon sugar, and popped it in the oven! She said her mom always did it that way to save time, and that it was the same recipe as regular snickerdoodles. Hmmm...maybe I should conduct an experiment. Haley LOVES snickerdoodles, so I make them at least once a month! It'd be great to save the time!
Liz, if you have a good lemon bar recipe, please post it! I haven't found one that works for me, although I love lemon bars!
I do! It's called Krusteaz box mix! :)
Ha! That's the only lemon bar that I've made that I like! It must just be like brownies--better from a box. :)
