Upholstery cleaner

What a boring blog post title.

Can anyone recommend an upholstery cleaner and a place to get it? My hubby and I looked at Lowe's and Target tonight with no success. I have a spot on my couch that needs some extra help to get it out.

FOLEX

We buy it at Home Depot. Just under the name is says "Instant carpet stain remover" but it's excellent for upholstry too! I don't remember the cost but I'd say 5-10 dollars. It lasts a long time. It's 32 fl. oz.

Spray it on the stain, let it soak for just a few seconds. Use papertowels or a washcloth to rub the area and the stain will come out.

It works for us!

I went 5 years without realizing I could REMOVE all the covers on my couch and machine wash them. It CHANGED my couch....it's way better now.

I really like Woolite Oxy. It works great on anything.

Brian uses Rug Doctor (you can buy a bottle and rent a steam cleaner at Ace Hardware or the like) when we do deep cleaning on the carpets and upholstery. Actually, I should say when HE does deep cleaning (ie: once or twice a year). He said you have to go over stains a couple of times, but they come out. Sounds like the other options might be better for just one stain.

FYI, when it comes to carpet stains, I am a HUGE fan of Resolve carpet cleaner (you can get it anywhere). Ever since it cleaned up my oldest's mess without a trace when she dumped her cup of milk with THREE Oreos drowned and smushed in it, I won't even consider another carpet cleaner!
