I don't think that I have ever used baby powder on any of my kids. The only use I get out of baby powder is if my hair starts looking a little greasy and I am not able to wash it :)
I remember hearing that it's not really recommended for little ones anymore because they can breathe it in, but considering that most of our parents probably used it on us and we turned out fine, just trust your gut! :)
Good to know, all. I've never used it but my husband wanted me to ask in case it might help her tooshie to smell better pre-diaper change. I just change the diaper.

I put baby powder in shoes with leather insoles that I don't wear socks with like sandals so my feet don't stick and make funny noises! :)

No, b/c I heard a rumor it contributes to cancer in those areas ....probably some myth....
