United States
Oh the red, white, and the blue.
I do love freedom.

old glory waving
oh, say, can you see
our star-spangled flag

not very original, but we watched a special on our flag last night on PBS that was very interesting

Give some gals a break! You don't write a haiku yourself, but you critique ours! Who does that??!!

In my defense, I have the stomach flu! I counted that thing over and over so it's even sadder that I got the counting wrong! Oh well! At least I tried! :)

staphanie....I do!...and FYI my sis linz was trying to edit my comment to disclude YOU ALL SUCK. But if you tell someone "you suck" it's usually in a joking fashion, and so I felt that ya'll might get it.

No, I do not write haiku....I for sure would have been like 13-2-6

Oh boy Linz. When I read the assignment, I had scare flash backs of High School English class. My least favorite subject. I tried thinking of something, then decided that English is still not my subject, and that I would leave the writing to the more talented writers. I am impressed that the rest of you didn't just lay in the fetal position and cry like I did. Bravo!
