Daylight Savings

I thought "Fall Back" meant you got to gain an hour!!! It's 5am here and my little one is up an hour early. No one told her she could sleep in extra!!! Any suggestions on how to retrain your toddler to the new time change? I don't remember what we did last year!

Ha ha, I don't have any ideas... but we went through the same thing!!!

We're just going to try to keep her up until it's 8:30 (9:30 by her clock) and hopefully by not letting her go to sleep early, she'll sleep in till "normal" time :)

I just told Haley to go back to bed, and (miraculously) she did...for a while, anyway!

Laura, you Lucky girl! That didn't work for us! We're ready for church and we don't have to leave for an hour!!!

So funny. I remember the days when it meant sleeping in. I tried to explain to my 14 month old that she had the awesome privilege of getting an extra hour of sleep, but I don't think she understood. It wasn't so bad though, we put her in bed with us when she woke up and I think she actually fell asleep for another half hour so that made things almost normal. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning...

We tried to do all meals at the regular time today as well as her nap. I hope that that helped.

We did the same thing with our schedule and she was exhausted by dinner time because it was bedtime in her mind. But she only got up 1/2 hour early today and I let her squawk as long as they were happy squawks and got a little more time that way. I'm hoping that if she gets left there for a whille, she'll reallize that it's toooooo early!
