Alright fellow Losers, what's been going through your mind this week? Any recipes to share? Great workouts you've discovered? We'd love to read what you've got to say!
I'm not gonna lie... I'm scared for the upcoming week! I've hit a weight that I tend to plateau at. I know I'm going to have to work extra hard this week in order to move below that weight, otherwise, I could be stuck for awhile. I really, really need to add a vigorous cardio workout. I started out this weeks challenge strong, then Cecelia got sick and its been a rough couple of days. I know what I need to do... now I just have to do it!!
This week I have been better at watching what I eat - since I don't usually have trouble with getting the exercise in, the food is my biggest challenge. I imposed upon myself a sugar free week challenge (and am on Day 5) and that seems to have helped detox me.
No new recipes, although I am searching for some.
One thing I learned this last week - it is a wonderful mental change to switch up your exercise routine. I took an aerobics class last week (I usually do tapes at home by myself) and was so pleased with what a difference the sociality made. Most of my workouts are solitary, so it was fun to work out with other people. I am doing it again this week!
Has anyone tried that Wii Fit? I bought one, but I haven't opened it yet. I'm curious to hear if anyone else has tried it, and if it's actually a good workout or just a fun game.
I haven't tried it, but I've heard that its actually a pretty decent workout. If it is, you'll have to let me know! Maybe that would be a good way to convince my husband we should get a Wii!!
