Challenge Week 2: Is all about time

How did everyone do with last weeks challenge?? I will post a comment with how I did. Hopefully we all are eating more fruits and veggies than we were before. Let's keep going with it!

The challenge for this week is a physical one: get 200 minutes of cardio in before next Thursday. That is roughly five 40 minute workouts. Feel free to modify this (increase or decrease) if you need to.

This was a challenge I really needed. I was successful 5 out of 7 days. It is something I need to keep working on.

I noticed it really makes a difference when I fuel my body with fruits and veggies instead of ice cream and chocolate. :)

I did decent with this challenge. I do most of my grocery shopping at Sprouts, so most of our meals are fruit & veggie based, with some meat or carbs thrown in. I think I missed 2 days, but only by one serving... so I'm happy with that! Especially since the other 5 days, I was getting over 5 servings of fruits/veggies.

It was nice to have the additional incentive to think about fruits and veggies. We did really well but missed one day. Now I just need to eat LESS of the other stuff and I'll be doing really well! :-)

This weekend will likely be hard because Phil will be sick with a treatment so I probably won't cook much (since he won't eat much) and I'll end up eating whatever is quick and easy. I'll try to do well though. I like knowing that I will be reporting.
