A black lab mix that was my "baby" for a whole month until I found out I was pregnant. If I would have known, the sweet loveable thing probably would have never made it to our house!
No and I do not ever plan on having any pets except fish, a tortoise, or a hamster. I am lucky because my son is allergic to cats and dogs so I have an excuse!
No, but my four year old daughter really wants one. Every time my daughter asks for a pet I remind her that her little brother does everything a dog does, so we don't need one. He will eat off the floor if you let him, runs around when new people come to the door, and loves to try and play in the toilet.

No. I think it will be awhile. We will probably have a dog at some point but I'm not ready to care for one or deal with hair, stench, or slobber.
No, and we probably never will. I do make sure to take Claire to the pet store up the road fairly regularly because she loves animals so much. We're just not animal people.
We don't and I don't want one! I had bad experiences with pets as a child. My husband grew up with dogs so as soon as we live in a house where a dog would work, I can tell we're going to be having a fight about this one, I mean a discussion! :)
We have two cats that we got while my husband was trying to put the idea of a baby off a little longer. They were my babies until Bauer came and now I really only like one of them because she's actually friendly!
My in-laws have a couple of yippy dogs that we see on a regular basis and I can't stand them! My husband has tried several times to convince me to get a little dog but I have to keep reminding him that once a week is enough dog for me!
No, but I can't wait until we do! We are hopefully going to get a dog a year from this summer, that way my girls will be old enough that I can give the dog the training he will need. I hate little dogs though - not a fan of yippers! I'm hoping for a Golden Retriever.
Yes. We have two rats. We had two lizards until there was a horrible tragedy with the thermostat over Christmas break...my husband bought me these new pets for Valentines Day. Trust me, it was very sweet of him!
We've tried... We had a rabbit when we first got married. It got sick and died, so we got another one and it was the meanest rabbit EVER. Then we tried a cat, which was fine until I got pregnant. The closer we got to Cecelia being born the more naughty that cat got. We ended up getting rid of him. Now we have an aquarium and we are very content with that!! One day we hope to get a dog... either a lab or a greyhound, but not for a long, long time!
Unfortunately No!!! We had a cat before we moved to Texas, but she started having some potty problems so we decided that it was probably best not to bring her. I miss her, but it is nice not having to worry about who is going to care for your animal when you want to go out of town. However, I hope to be able to get another pet someday in the future.
Until my hubby and I can resolve (and agree) on the outside (me) vs. inside (him) issue we won't have any dogs and we are both allergic to cats. We do have some adorable squirrels all over our back yard. They entertain us every morning while we eat breakfast.
