Blog Layout

I thought we'd worked out the kinks, but now I'm getting feed back saying that the black font on brown background is hard to read. What colour would be best for everyone?? I'll make a new background soon so we don't have these issues, but for the time being, what's going to be best?

If you're going to change the background soon why bother changing the font color now? I'm not trying to be a bah-humbug (I do like the cute little hearts and ribbon.) but Valentines is over, why not change the whole thing now?

I'm going to change it as soon as I have time to sit down and make a new background... I just don't have time right this minute to pull one together. And originally, the intention was for this to be our permanent background. We've just had a lot of problems with it not loading correctly on different computers and people have been unable to see certain font colours... so I just thought I would change what is easy to change, until I can do another make over.

Wow! Claire thanks for all your time and effort! I think it looks great. Thanks for caring enough to ask what others feel would help improve the blog. I like the hearts and ribbon. It fits the sugar and spice blog. I didn't think it was just for valentines day I thought it was a keeper!!

the light pink shows up REALLY good on the brown....where it says Home and Labels, I can read very easily on the brown....

Claire, I'm sorry, I hope I didn't offend you. I didn't mean "now" as in this instant I just meant if there were so many problems, just change the whole thing. I also didn't realize it was a permanent background. The new background came up right around Valentines day, so thats what I thought the change was for. I do appreciate your hard work and trying to address everyone's viewing issues. I understand the time and effort it takes to make everything work. I think it just depends on the internet server each person has. The black font doesn't show up on the brown on my PC (in fact, I didn't know it was brown, I see it as gray, until I logged on using our MAC)
