I was surprised that my lesson/activity went over well. I brought out my husband's mission scrapbook and I couldn't believe how much my two year old got into it. She liked finding pictures of the Book of Mormon. Then we all sat down and created a picture or letter to my missionary bro.
Since all of our family rules sort of went out the window while I was pregnant we made a chart together of our house rules. Stuff like, "no jumping on the couch" and "always put your own dirty clothes in the laundry." We got pictures off the internet and the kids enjoyed cutting them out and taping them on the chart. Then we had brownies.
Alright- our family home evening was fun. Scott gave a short thought about the importance of taking care of our bodies though exercise and healthy eating. Then we went to a Phoenix Suns basketball game. :D It was fun to go out and spend a night together as a family. And Cecelia loved picking the songs and saying the prayers. I need to find lessons that will better hold her attention though... even 2 minute lessons seem to be too long for her at this point!
We started having an "I'm grateful for" jar that we add to every week. We all think of something this week that we are especially grateful for. When we got to Reagan we asked her what she was grateful for this week and she said "I'm grateful for Daddy." So that was pretty sweet. (Last week she said candy.)

Linz, you have such awesome FHE ideas! I'll have to file that one away for the future!
Our FHE is happening tonight due to Scott having school last night. I'll let you know how it goes!
