I love that life feels a little slower here. People seem more earthy or something. I love it here. I don't like how cold it gets, but this winter wasn't bad at all.
I love how Minneapolis feels like a big city and has almost everything but the suburbs are close enough to be accessible and far enough away that I don't feel lost in the big city.
Mostly I love that are families are only an hour away. But we moved to a tiny little town called Bath, about 10 min outside of Lansing. It's perfect, because we are only 10-15 min away from pretty much any restaraunt or store, but our actual house is in more of a country setting. We both love that!
Right now we're living with my parents in the house I grew up in, and we're looking for a house in this town so that we are close to them still. My mom is provising free day care, so I definitely love that. Plus, it's a small town only 20 min outside of Grand Rapids, which has pretty much anything I ever need.

All my family and friends live here. Except my sister, but I wish that she lived here.
I love that it's a quaint college town, but still has a little bit city life.

I hate the wind in Omaha, but the people are so friendly!
