First grade, I dressed up like my American Girl Doll, Molly and looked exactly like her.

Fourth Grade, I wanted to be super unique... So I dressed up as a table! I rested a big sheet of cardboard on my shoulders (hole cut out for my head) and put a table cloth and place settings on it. I even put a centerpiece on my head!

Second grade I was Ms. Piggy and in fifth grade I was a picnic table. My mom was always really creative with our costumes.

For the eighth grade Halloween dance, I was the bride of Frankenstein. I had really long hair, with the same wave as the character in the movie, so I used about two cans of hairspray to hold it up. It was awesome!

Sixth grade, my brother, sister, and I dressed up as a train. (We're not a very exciting Halloween bunch).

One year my Mom wrapped a big box, put a bow on it, and cut out holes for the arms and legs. I was a present! I'm not too good with coming up with creative ideas....

In 5th grade I was a french maid and I looked sweeeeeeeet! In 9th grade I was Pocahontas and that was pretty cool too.

In fifth grade I was the Statue of Liberty and I won a contest. That was for sure my best costume. I don't really like Halloween.

Kage, you definitely pull off ElastiGirl fantastically. I would like CellulitaGirl in that outfit.

I never had very good costumes growing up but I've had to dress up the last couple years for Halloween concerts since I play in a community band.
The best by far was this past Halloween when I dressed up as Princess Leia!

In sixth grade I was a Pepsi can. My dad made my costume with some canvas formed into a cylinder by a wire circle on each end. It was an aesthetically pleasing costume but not very practical, as the bottom wire hit right at my calves making it impossible to walk any faster than an 80-year-old. Oh, and one of the neighbors opened her door to give us candy and it hit me. I lost my balance and fell off the porch into a bush. Awesome!
