Can anyone share any Easter traditions/fun ideas as far as Easter dinner and other Easter activities? Thus far in my marriage I have been Easter challenged.
I've always loved the good ole' tradition of searching for our very own Easter Basket filled with candies and goodies Easter morning. Getting a new Easter Dress was always fun too!
Once a lot of my cousins were older, my uncle started hiding a "teenager" prize, really well hidden with a 20 dollar bill inside something chocolate-he hid it in our pool filter one year!
We always have a ham and sour cream new potatoes for Easter. And ham sauce! (a yummy mustardy sauce)
We always did the version where you found the eggs and filled up your basket and at the end we made sure that everyone got an equal share. Last year, M had NO interest in it much to grandma's disappointment-she was two months old people! :) but she looked cute in her new dress!! I waited until the last minute and then the children's place clearanced all their easter dresses!
Sorry, this is a really late comment, but I am catching up. We used to leave carrots for the Easter Bunny, like you leave cookies for Santa Claus. In the morning our baskets "mysteriously" appeared and when we looked out on the front step there would be carrot crumbles trailing away from our door.
