I saw the post about russian websites to download cheap music... and it got me thinking.
Regardless of purpose/mood, what songs are a permanent part of your collection? Could be for anything: relaxing, working out, pondering, psyching yourself up, quality time with the honey, etc.

My top three favorite artists are:
Ben Folds
Counting Crows
Dashboard Confessional
If I'm in a country mood then:
Faith Hill
Martina McBride
Tim McGraw
Rascal Flatts
Lonestar
Favorite from childhood:
John Denver
"Bringing Sexy Back" is the song that really gets me pumped when I think about working out and sticking to my diet :)
I'm such a fan of "Wind It Up" by Gwen Stefani. I have it on my MP3 player and when I play it at the gym I can't help but start grooving on the eliptical and people stare at me funny.
I love classic Elton John, I'm a huge Styx fan (don't feel sad if you don't know who they are or think I'm a dork for loving them), the Wicked soundtrack and the Chess soundtrack are so fun to sing to but Indigo Girls have to be my very faves. Rites of Passage is the best album ever made, period.
