baby sunscreen

I know nothing about baby sunscreen (i.e. what to avoid, what brands to look for, etc.). Any guidance?

When Haley (my first) was a baby, her doc told us to use Water Babies by Coppertone, SPF 45. She said it was the only one she would recommend, and not to use the store brand. We've followed her advice, and the girls have never had a sunburn.

Patch test. My kids have zero allergies, but 5-year-old I have only found one brand that doesn't make her break out and it is generic rite aid brand...so random. There are sunscreens that have chemical blockers and non-chemical blockers...so you want to look for ones that are non-chemical. Also, all sunscreens have UVB blockers, but not all have UVA...so make sure it has both.

I would look into the brand BABY BLANKET. They have lots of cool products like sunscreen sticks and wipes and stuff....
