What are your favorite board/party games? I've just moved to a new place and hope to make new friends :) and I think that games are a great way to get to know people. I like games like Catchphrase that get everyone involved and talking. Here are two of my other favorites:

Who? What? Where? (This one is a really fun drawing game my Mom discovered and you don't have to be good at drawing to enjoy it. We love it.)

Cranium is really fun. And I always love Sequence.
We really like the German games. They don't get people talking quite as much, but they are tons of fun. Some of our favorites are:
Settlers of Cataan
Carcassonne
Acquire
Ticket to Ride
There is also this really funny game called lightning reaction. Four people hold joysticks, and when the light turns green you have to push the button on the joystick. The one with the slowest reaction time gets a shock! Sounds kinda harsh, but it is hilarious!
Apples to Apples and Balderdash are two of my favorites!
My brother has a fun game called Curses. Most people will only play once because you make an absolute fool of yourself, but it's a lot of fun if you're willing to be silly!
Mark and I love games. Our favorites are Blokus,Cranium,imaginiff, family feud and scene it (we have the Disney one, but others are fun as well) We also like card games.
