here's a recipe for you: whole wheat pita chips and roasted garlic hummus....just pick them up, put them in your cart, purchase, and then set them out on your table!
2 lb. mushrooms, cleaned and de-stemmed 1 lb. Jimmy Dean Hot sausage (light works fine), browned 1 8 oz. package cream cheese (light works fine) 1 Tblsp. worcestershire sauce
Clean mushrooms, brown sausage and drain. Mix sausage with softened cream cheese and worcestershire sauce. Spoon into mushroom caps and bake for 10 minutes at 350. Then broil for five minutes. Easy, yummy and everyone's always impressed at how simple they are to make!
Rumaki (Roo-ma-key) 2 cans whole water chesnuts, drained 1/2-1 lb. bacon, cut in halfs or thirds 6 Tbsp. chili sauce 3 Tbsp. brown sugar 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
Wrap chestnuts with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Broil 5-6 minutes. Mix together chili sauce, brown sugar and mustard (I almost always have to make 1 1/2 batches of sauce). Dip wrapped chestnuts in sauce and return to oven to bake at350 for 20 minutes.
Avocado Bean Dip 1 can small black beans and juice 1 can white corn, drained (yellow corn works fine too) 1/2 sweet onion, chopped fine 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped fresh lime juice from 2 limes 1-2 avocados, not too mushy, diced
Mix together first five ingredients. Add the avocado. It's yummy with those lime tostitos!
Sorry if I went overboard! I love appetizers!!!!! Can't wait to hear everyone else's ideas!

Oh, this will be great for me. I'm terrible at appetizers! I never know what to serve. Thank you for thinking of this!
