Yesterday I was surfin' the 'net and happened upon this really cool website about homemade baby food. It looks pretty interesting. I know some of you ladies are past the baby food thing, but for those of you who aren't...something to look into.
It always seemed to time consuming to me. Although I have always wished that I was the mother that actually did that sort of thing. With Logan, he stopped eating baby food so quickly. I didn't start until he was 6 months and I swear, by nine months he mainly wanted what we were eating. Of course he was my third, with my first I probably never would have given Bradyn half the stuff that i gave logan :)
I worked with a teacher last year who said she made her own baby food and she would store it in ice cube trays and freeze them so they would be stored in small servings.
We had a mesh bag with a handle that she could chew "choker" foods through. I cut up apple pieces that she wouldn't be ready for otherwise and she just chomps on them and gets the flesh and juice through the bag! She loves it! My Mom also bought me a grinder for Christmas, so you can make your own stuff and grind it down rather than getting out hte blender every time. In feeding therapy we also recommend "Super Baby Food" and lots of parents love that too for making homemade food.

sweet! Thanks Stac! I've actually been interested in this topic but have never looked into it.
Thanks for the great tip! Have you followed any of these recipes?

I haven't tried any of these recipes yet, but they look really healthy. I'll try one and let you know what I think.
